Max was a good friend and I know I am going to miss him very much.
He was very funny, friendly and kind. Funny things would happen all the time but I remember walking to school one day and Max went up to a small puddle and stood in it and started sinking down and I had to pull his leg out because he got stuck. It was really funny at the time.
I have some good photos of his birthday party at Dundee swimming pool which was amazing.
I would like to remember him just laughing and having a good time. I am really glad he invited me to that.
Max was one of the most funniest, happiest boys I have ever met.
He wasn't just a classmate, he was a friend too.
My mum and I were lucky to see him in Aberdeen Children's Hospital before he got moved to Glasgow. I could see that it was really hard for him and I knew he was in pain.
On Christmas Day we got a phone call from Max - he sounded much better and he told me that he got a 3DS for Christmas. We were all so pleased to hear his voice but we never knew it was the last time we were ever going to hear it.
Max was such a great friend to me and I will miss him with all my heart.
I have known Max for a long time and if I were to think of a story about him this one would probably be the first to come to mind.
It started when I was little and I went to a party. There were not a lot of boys there but Max was one of them. Before we started the activities there were three stations that you could go to - the first station was nail painting, the second one was getting your hair done and the third was wash off tattoos. Most of the boys went to the wash off tattoos but Max went straight to the nail painting and got his nails painted bright pink.
The next day at school he stood up in front of the whole class and everyone including Max burst out laughing.
" It's not fair that Max has gone away so young.
If Max leaves us, he'll be able to speak to God and the angels"
